Involved in the trade of blue lotus flowers since 2003 we understood that the knowlegde and the many uses of blue lotus flowers could be the start of a new revival since Cleopatra VII. Blue lotus has been cherished for centuries in old ages for its soothing fragrance and versatile uses, including in potpourri, tea, cosmetics, and smoking blends and therefore Thasai decided in 2016 to start a cooperation with family members and small farmers to produce blue lotus flowers for the export market.

Currently, we supply a whole range of blue lotus products such as dried whole flowers, dried petals and stamen, cut flowers, flower powder, resinous extract, flower powdered extract, flower tincture, and blue lotus 100% absolute oil to wholesale customers worldwide. 

The flowers are grown in a 100% environmental friendly way with respect for the challenges the farmers in the co-op must overwin during the year.

 

 

The Thasai family and over 20 other farmer families operate Blue Lotus farms in Buriram and Korat province in North East Thailand. The ponds are either rain fed or irrigated to assure a steady supply throughout the year even with the uncertain weather conditions nowadays.

In the way the co-op maintains the farms there is no need to use chemical fertilizers since the ponds are a place for the cows in the dry season and their dung is the fertilizer for the new production cycle. During the production cycle the storks are our best friends to regulate the snail population.
